Wow! Thank you so much for yesterday and the opportunity to climb the iconic Harbour Bridge to raise awareness for positive mental health. It was absolutely amazing to scale the Bridge and I found the bridge’s symbolism of climbing up, out of the depths of mental struggles so powerful.
As well, I was very encouraged to see high-profile Australians leading the way in ‘normalising’ mental health discussions and advocating for stronger support systems, in particular being courageous to share stories of their vulnerabilities. It was so touching to hear Cameron Daddo’s
GET MOVING
MENTAL HEALTH and WELLBEING requires purpose, passion, persistence, and the achievement of goals.
People need to engage with life in order to be happy. We spend far too much time in front of screens and too little time doing physical activities these days. Climb for Mental Health is about getting workers out of their chairs, engaging with life and ticking a great item off their bucket list. This year, you get to climb the world renowned Sydney Harbour Bridge. The best part is that you also get to do it to promote mental health in your community! That’s the best way to experience happiness, by getting and giving!
How can I support Climb for Mental Health?
There are three ways you can participate in the event:
1. Get your ticket to Climb for Mental Health – join us as we scale the Sydney Harbour Bridge! We have a special event package available including a unique climb certificate to show your support for the cause.
